The Old White Hart is on the town square in the centre of Llantwit Major, a small coastal town in the Vale of Glamorgan.

  • From Cardiff: about 15 miles south-west.
  • From Barry: about 10 miles west.
  • From Bridgend: about 9 miles south-east.
  • Nearby: the RAF base at St Athan is a couple of miles away.

Llantwit Major has a railway station on the Vale of Glamorgan line between Cardiff and Bridgend; check Transport for Wales for current times. From the square, St Illtud's Church is a few minutes on foot, and a lane leads down to the pebble beach at Col-huw, on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
