Food and drink at the Old White Hart: what the inn was known for

In the early 2010s the inn's upstairs bar became a restaurant, Gegin yr Hart (Welsh for "the Hart's kitchen"). The pub stressed locally sourced produce and offered a mix that is typical of a busy village inn: a main menu of traditional pub dishes, light bites, home-made specials, a steak night, Sunday lunch, an early-evening "dine by 9" offer and, more unusually, authentic Thai cuisine.
On the drinks side, it listed real ales served directly from the cask alongside lagers, cider and draught beers, plus bottled beers and spirits from around the world.
Menus, prices and opening hours change. This guide does not publish them: please check with the inn itself before you go.
